Exercise improves cognitive functioning, controls weught and reduces the risk of obesity related illnesses. It protects us from fatal ilnesses  such as:

  • Cardiovascular disease
  • Stroke
  • Hypertension
  • Stroke
  • Type 2 diabetes
  • Colon cancer
  • Breast cancer
  • Anxiety
  • Depression

The exercise we need is above and beyond normal daily activites such as housekeeping .

Recommended are:

  • Thirty minutes of moderate exercise daily
  • Muscle strengthening to strengthen major muscles
  • Cardio vascular exercise
  • Flexibiliity stretching to improve balance.
